FixLogix is a web + mobile app for makerspaces to track tool health, downtime, and maintenance with minimal admin overhead. Instead of generic “asset management,” it focuses on the reality of shared shops: frequent minor failures, unclear responsibility, and lost time waiting for repairs. Members can scan a QR code on a machine, report an issue in under 20 seconds (photo + symptom + severity), and the system auto-routes it to the right maintainer based on tool type and past fixes. Maintainers get a prioritized queue, parts checklist, and a simple repair log that builds a searchable history for each machine. Admins see uptime dashboards, recurring failure patterns, and “cost of downtime” estimates to justify replacements or training. It’s not glamorous, but it saves real hours and reduces member frustration—if the space actually enforces using it.
