FixProof
FixProof is a web app with an optional lightweight desktop agent that automatically verifies whether an IT fix actually worked. Instead of trusting “resolved” notes, it runs post-resolution checks (service status, event log patterns, disk space thresholds, VPN connectivity, printer reachability, app launch tests) based on the ticket type and device profile. It then posts a pass/fail result back to the ticket and alerts the tech if the issue is likely to recur. The goal is to reduce reopen rates and the hidden cost of “phantom resolutions.” Integrations focus on the systems IT already uses (RMM, MDM, and ticketing), but the product stays narrow: verification, not full ticketing or patching. Admins can create check templates, set acceptable thresholds, and see dashboards for repeat offenders (devices, sites, or recurring root causes).
