FlareMap
FlareMap is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) that helps people with recurring pain identify what actually drives flare-ups. Instead of generic journaling, it focuses on fast, low-friction check-ins (30 seconds) and correlates pain intensity with sleep, activity, weather pressure, menstrual cycle, stress, and medication timing. It pulls passive signals from Apple Health/Google Fit and local weather APIs, then uses lightweight AI to surface patterns like “high flare risk after <6h sleep + high step count” or “barometric drops precede migraines by 12 hours.” The app generates simple, evidence-style summaries you can share with clinicians, reducing the usual ‘I don’t know, it just happens’ problem. It’s not a diagnostic tool; it’s a practical trigger-finder and planning aid with reminders for pacing, hydration, and recovery routines based on your personal risk signals.
