FleaFax is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps pet owners and small clinics prevent parasite lapses by turning messy real-world behavior into a simple, auditable schedule. Users scan a product barcode or receipt, log doses in seconds, and get reminders that adapt to missed doses, pet weight changes, and multi-pet households. The app generates a “coverage timeline” showing when protection is active vs. expired, plus region-aware risk nudges (e.g., tick season, travel) using public data. For clinics, it offers a lightweight portal to enroll clients, push approved product plans, and reduce “I forgot” calls. The AI component is limited and practical: OCR for receipts/labels and a rules-based assistant that flags inconsistencies (wrong dose for weight, overlapping products) and suggests questions to ask a vet rather than giving medical advice.
