FleetNearMiss

FleetNearMiss is a mobile + web AI app for commercial fleets to capture, classify, and fix “near-miss” events before they become collisions. Drivers can quickly report a close call in under 20 seconds using voice, optional photo, and auto-captured context (time, location, speed if integrated). The system clusters similar events (e.g., a specific intersection, loading dock, or route segment) and generates a weekly “top risk hotspots” report with recommended countermeasures: route tweaks, coaching topics, signage requests, or yard layout changes. Managers get a lightweight dashboard that tracks near-miss rate per 10,000 miles, repeat hotspots, and completion of corrective actions. This is realistic safety work: it won’t replace telematics or dashcams, but it fills the gap where fleets have data on crashes yet almost no structured data on the warning signs that precede them.
