FleetSpec

FleetSpec is a mobile + web app that helps pickup and light-truck buyers verify real-world trim, axle ratio, tow ratings, payload, and option packages from a VIN scan—then compares it against what a seller claims. Users scan the VIN barcode or type the VIN, and the app pulls OEM build data where available, plus crowdsourced “as-delivered” details (tires, hitch class, bed length, gear ratio) with photo proof. It flags common listing errors (wrong trim, missing tow package, inflated payload) and generates a simple “Spec Sheet” you can share with a dealer or private seller. It also includes a checklist for what to photograph (door jamb sticker, axle tag, hitch label) and stores everything in one place for negotiation and insurance. This is not magic: some OEM data is incomplete, so the app is designed to be transparent about confidence levels and sources.
