FleetWatt

FleetWatt is a mobile + web app for small and mid-sized fleets running EVs (delivery, service vans, municipal, contractors). It connects to vehicles via supported telematics/OBD adapters and to charging networks to show what actually drives cost: where drivers charge, how long they dwell, idle fees, peak pricing, and wasted detours. The app flags policy violations (e.g., repeated DC fast charging when Level 2 is available, charging to 100% daily, excessive preconditioning) and turns them into simple, enforceable rules. It also produces driver-friendly “next best charge” suggestions based on route, SOC, dwell time, and station reliability—without pretending to be full route optimization. Reporting is built for owners: cost per mile, charger utilization, reimbursement summaries for home charging, and a weekly action list. This is not glamorous; it’s operational plumbing that saves money if the data is clean.
