FlexBidder

FlexBidder is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for commercial and industrial sites to monetize demand flexibility without hiring a specialist. It connects to existing building systems (BMS), meters, and major DER/DR aggregators to translate what a facility can actually shed or shift into dispatch-safe bids for demand response and flexibility markets. The product focuses on the unglamorous work: baselining, measurement & verification, event performance tracking, and audit-ready reporting. It also provides a “risk dial” so operators can cap comfort/process impact and avoid penalties. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps infer flexible load envelopes from historical telemetry and schedules, but the core is deterministic controls, guardrails, and compliance workflows. Realistically, sales cycles are slow and integration is messy, so the MVP should target a narrow set of common systems (e.g., BACnet/Modbus via gateways) and a single market/aggregator partner first.
