FlexBidder

FlexBidder is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) for mid-sized commercial and industrial sites to participate in demand response and load flexibility programs without hiring an energy analyst. It connects to interval meter data and common building/industrial systems, forecasts site load, and generates “safe curtailment plans” that won’t break operations. When an event or price spike hits, it recommends a ranked set of actions (HVAC resets, process shifting, battery dispatch if available), estimates kW reduction confidence, and logs proof for settlement. It also tracks program rules, baselines, and performance so users can see if participation is actually profitable. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional integrations/workflows plus AI for forecasting, anomaly detection, and action recommendations. Realistically, the hardest part is integrations and getting trustworthy baselines; the product wins by making participation low-effort and auditable.
