FlightWindow is a mobile + web app that helps birders and wildlife photographers decide when and where to go by forecasting short-term bird activity (“flight windows”) for a specific spot. It combines local weather, wind direction, barometric pressure trends, time-of-day, seasonality, and recent community sightings to output a simple score and suggested time blocks for the next 48 hours. Users can pin locations (parks, wetlands, backyards), set alerts for high-probability windows, and log what they actually saw to improve future predictions. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used to model activity likelihood and to summarize recent sightings into plain-language guidance, but the core value is a reliable, practical forecast. Monetization is realistic via a freemium model: free basic forecasts, paid advanced layers (migration intensity, species-specific alerts, and photographer-focused light/wind tools).
