Instead of trying to “identify every bird,” it focuses on what people actually struggle with: how much seed they’re burning, which feeders waste the most, when to clean, and what changes increase visits. Users log seed purchases, feeder refills, and quick sightings (optional photo). The app turns that into practical insights: cost per week, refill cadence predictions, cleaning reminders, and “what changed?” comparisons when bird activity drops. It also includes a lightweight neighborhood trend view (opt-in, privacy-preserving) so users can see if a lull is local weather/migration or just their setup. It’s not a magic bird-identifier; it’s a realistic operations tool for a hobby that quietly gets expensive and messy.
