FlockProof is a mobile + web AI-assisted birding app focused on one thing: making sightings credible. Instead of just logging a bird, you attach lightweight “proof” (photo, audio, location, timestamp) and the app generates a confidence score plus a short, transparent explanation (e.g., call match %, range plausibility, seasonality). It also flags likely mis-IDs and suggests the top 3 alternatives with side-by-side field marks. For rare birds, it produces a shareable verification card that local records committees and group admins can quickly review. The app works offline for capture, then syncs when connected. This is not trying to replace eBird/iNaturalist; it’s a companion layer that reduces arguments, improves data quality, and helps birders learn faster by showing why an ID is likely right or wrong.
