FloorPulse is a web + mobile AI app that turns in-store foot-traffic and queue signals into practical labor actions. It ingests data from existing sensors/cameras (or simple manual counts), POS timestamps, and schedule data to forecast near-term demand by zone and hour. Managers get a live “coverage map” showing where customers are building up, suggested micro-reassignments (e.g., move one associate from fitting rooms to checkout for 20 minutes), and post-shift reports that quantify lost sales risk from understaffing. It also flags chronic mismatches (e.g., weekends 2–5pm) and recommends schedule templates that reduce overtime and missed breaks. The goal is not to replace workforce management suites; it’s to add a lightweight, store-level decision layer that actually changes what happens on the floor in real time.
