FlowAudit

FlowAudit is a web + desktop app for architects and facility planners to validate circulation in early design. Users import a floor plan (PDF/DWG/IFC) or sketch zones, then define entrances, destinations (elevators, toilets, exits), and user types (staff, visitors, patients). The app generates measurable circulation metrics: travel-time bands, bottleneck heatmaps, queue risk at pinch points, and egress path sanity checks. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps auto-detect doors, corridors, and room labels, but users can override everything because detection will be imperfect. Exports include annotated plan overlays and a short “circulation report” for client and code-review discussions. This is not a magic “optimize my building” tool; it’s a pragmatic checker that catches obvious circulation mistakes early, when changes are still cheap.
