FlowFence

FlowFence is a cross-platform focus guard that activates only during the moments you’re most likely to derail: starting a task, switching contexts, or hitting a slump. Instead of a rigid “always block social media” approach, it uses lightweight AI to detect intent (calendar events, active app/window, keyboard/mouse patterns) and then applies short, timed “focus fences” that prevent common escape hatches (news, social, shopping, YouTube). It also adds a friction layer: a 10–30 second delay with a reason prompt before opening blocked sites, so you can still override when it’s legitimately needed. The app produces a weekly “distraction map” showing your top triggers and the exact times you leak attention. It’s realistic about behavior: you won’t become a monk, but you can cut the worst 20% of distractions that cause 80% of lost time.
