FlowFix Tutor

FlowFix Tutor is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that guides homeowners through basic plumbing tasks with clear, safety-first checklists and short, job-specific instructions. Instead of generic videos, it asks a few questions (fixture type, symptoms, tools on hand, home age) and produces a tailored plan: what to buy, what to shut off, what to test, and when to stop and call a pro. It includes a “parts matcher” that converts plain-English descriptions and photos into likely part categories and sizes (with confidence levels), plus a time/cost estimate so users don’t start a job they can’t finish. The app also stores a simple home plumbing profile (water heater type, pipe materials, fixture models) to make future fixes faster. It’s realistic: it won’t pretend every issue is DIY-able, and it flags high-risk scenarios early.
