FlowGrid

FlowGrid is a web + desktop app for generating and comparing spatial layouts for small commercial interiors (cafes, clinics, salons, small offices). Users input a simple floor outline (upload PDF/DWG or trace), then add fixed elements (doors, windows, plumbing walls) and requirements (seats, rooms, aisle widths, ADA clearances). The app produces multiple compliant layout candidates, scores them (circulation efficiency, capacity, privacy, egress), and lets users tweak with snap-to-constraint editing. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional geometry/constraint solving for correctness, plus AI to interpret messy inputs (sketches, PDFs) and to explain tradeoffs in plain language. Exports include dimensioned plans, a basic bill of areas, and a client-ready comparison sheet. It’s not a full BIM replacement; it’s a fast early-stage layout decision tool.
