FlowGuard
FlowGuard is a web app (with an optional lightweight desktop agent) that continuously validates SDN controller intent against real network behavior. It connects to common SDN controllers (OpenDaylight, ONOS, Cisco ACI via APIs) and collects flow/route state plus telemetry from switches. The core value: it runs automated “canary” tests (synthetic flows, policy probes, reachability checks) and alerts when the controller’s desired state diverges from actual forwarding. It also provides a change-impact preview: before you push a policy or app update, FlowGuard simulates and sanity-checks the blast radius using a topology snapshot and recent traffic baselines. This is not a full controller replacement; it’s a guardrail that sits beside existing SDN stacks. An AI component summarizes incidents, suggests likely root causes (e.g., bad intent, stale topology, southbound flaps), and drafts rollback steps, but the product must work without AI too.
