FlowMeter

FlowMeter is a web + mobile app that measures real-world throughput in spaces like clinics, warehouses, museums, and event venues using existing cameras and simple QR check-ins. It turns messy foot-traffic and process movement into a live “throughput map” showing where flow slows, how long people dwell, and which routes cause congestion. Teams get alerts when a zone exceeds a wait-time threshold and can test interventions (extra staff, one-way routing, signage changes) with before/after comparisons. This is not magic: accuracy depends on camera placement and consistent check-ins, and it won’t replace a full-blown enterprise WMS/RTLS system. But for operators who currently rely on gut feel, manual counts, or post-incident complaints, it provides a practical, affordable way to quantify flow and improve it week over week.
