FlowSandbox

FlowSandbox is a web + desktop app for small and mid-sized manufacturers to run quick discrete-event simulations of a production line without hiring an industrial engineer. Users drag-and-drop stations, buffers, operators, and shift calendars, then import basic cycle-time data from CSV or directly from common PLC exports. The simulator outputs throughput, WIP, bottleneck probability, and expected lead time under different staffing, batch sizes, and downtime assumptions. It includes a lightweight “scenario compare” view so managers can justify changes with numbers instead of gut feel. An optional AI assistant helps translate messy shop-floor notes ("press jams twice a shift") into structured assumptions, but the core value is a transparent model users can audit. This is not a high-fidelity digital twin; it’s a fast decision tool for everyday operational changes.
