FlowSpec

FlowSpec is a web app (with a lightweight desktop companion) that turns messy UI prototypes into clear, developer-ready behavior specs. Designers upload a Figma link or a recorded prototype walkthrough; FlowSpec extracts screens, interactions, states, and edge cases, then generates a structured spec: component inventory, state diagrams, validation rules, empty/loading/error states, and responsive breakpoints. It also flags ambiguities (“What happens on failed login?”) and missing states that routinely cause rework. The output is shareable as a living document and can sync to Jira/Linear tickets with acceptance criteria. This is an AI + traditional app: AI proposes the spec, humans approve and edit. It’s not a magic ‘design-to-code’ tool; it’s a clarity tool that reduces back-and-forth and prevents costly misunderstandings between design, product, and engineering.
