FlowTape

FlowTape is a web + desktop app that turns raw intraday tape/time-and-sales and level-2 data into a replayable “market film.” Traders can pick a symbol and date, then scrub through the session with synchronized price, volume, spreads, and liquidity changes. The app highlights microstructure events (sweep orders, liquidity pulls, abnormal spread widening, iceberg-like prints) and lets users bookmark moments, annotate them, and export a study log. It’s not a magic predictor; it’s a training and review tool that helps discretionary traders understand what actually happened and why their entries/exits worked or failed. The MVP focuses on a small set of supported brokers/data feeds and a tight workflow: replay, tag, compare sessions, and build a personal playbook. Monetization is subscription plus optional data-feed passthrough.
