FlywayAlert
FlywayAlert is a mobile + web AI app that predicts when migratory birds will pass over specific places, down to neighborhood-scale “best windows” for viewing and listening. Users pick species (or groups like warblers/raptors), set a location, and get nightly forecasts based on weather, radar-derived movement intensity, seasonality, and historical eBird patterns. The app sends push alerts for peak movement nights, suggests nearby viewing spots, and provides a simple “what to expect” checklist (time of night, direction, altitude, likely species mix). It also includes a lightweight logging flow so users can confirm sightings, improving local calibration over time. This is not a replacement for eBird; it’s a decision tool that answers the practical question: ‘Should I go out tonight, and where?’ Monetization is a subscription for advanced forecasts, multi-location tracking, and offline packs for travel.
