FlywayScout
FlywayScout is a mobile + web app for waterfowl hunters and guides that turns messy, scattered signals (weather shifts, wind direction, freeze lines, recent sightings, and local pressure) into a simple “go/no-go” plan for the next 72 hours. Users pick their region, species focus (mallard, teal, geese, etc.), and hunting style (field, timber, marsh). The app pulls hyperlocal forecasts, radar-derived precipitation, and public water levels, then combines it with community check-ins (optional, anonymized) to generate a daily movement likelihood score and recommended hunt windows. It also includes a lightweight logbook for birds seen/harvested, with private notes on access, decoy spreads, and calling results. This is not magic: it won’t guarantee birds. It’s a decision-support tool that saves time and reduces wasted trips.
