Focus Ledger

Focus Ledger is a web and mobile productivity app that forces you to confront where your time actually goes, not where you pretend it goes. Instead of yet another pretty to-do list, it combines strict time-boxing with a financial-style ledger of your attention: every block of time is a "transaction" that must be categorized, justified, and closed. You plan your day in time blocks, then the app aggressively prompts you to confirm whether you stayed on task, drifted, or bailed. Over time, it builds a brutally honest "attention P&L" that shows the cost of context switching, procrastination, and meetings in hard numbers. The app uses light AI to detect likely distractions (e.g., frequent app switching, long idle periods) and flags them for review, but it’s primarily a traditional, opinionated workflow tool rather than an AI toy. This is not a feel-good productivity app; it’s designed to make you slightly uncomfortable so you finally change your habits.
