FocusLadder

FocusLadder is a mobile + web AI-assisted deliberate practice planner that forces specificity: one micro-skill, one measurable target, one feedback loop. Users define a skill (e.g., guitar bends, sales objection handling, coding interviews), record short reps (audio/video/text), and score each rep against a simple rubric. The app then schedules the next drill using spaced repetition plus “error clustering” (it groups your recurring mistakes and assigns the smallest drill that fixes them). It also includes a timer-based practice mode that blocks distractions and captures quick notes mid-session. The honest angle: it won’t magically make you better—most people quit. So the product is built around reducing friction (templates, auto-rubrics, one-tap logging) and making progress visible (trend lines, streaks tied to outcomes, not minutes).
