FocusTrace
FocusTrace is a mobile AI app that runs short, science-inspired visual tasks (contrast sensitivity, fixation stability, saccade timing, and blink patterns) to estimate screen-related eye strain and focus drift. It doesn’t pretend to diagnose disease; it gives a practical “today vs baseline” score and clear actions: adjust font/contrast, lighting, break cadence, and viewing distance. Users can run a 2–3 minute check before and after long work sessions, then track trends over weeks. Optional integrations pull screen-time and ambient light data to explain spikes. The app is aimed at people who live on screens and want objective feedback beyond “my eyes feel tired.” It can also generate a shareable report for optometrists, but the core value is self-management and habit change. Realistically, accuracy will be “good enough for trends,” not medical-grade.
