FOIAFlow is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps journalists manage public-records requests end-to-end: drafting, filing, deadline tracking, follow-ups, fee negotiations, and appeals. It provides jurisdiction-specific templates, auto-generates polite but firm follow-up emails, and keeps a timeline of every interaction with attachments and call notes. The core value is operational: it prevents requests from dying quietly in inboxes and makes it easy to prove agency noncompliance. It also supports collaboration for small newsrooms—shared queues, assignment, and status reporting for editors. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists with drafting, summarizing agency responses, and suggesting next steps, but the product’s backbone is a reliable workflow system. Realistically, it won’t magically “win” FOIA fights; it just makes persistence scalable and measurable.
