FOIAForge is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that streamlines public-records requests for both requesters and government agencies. For the public, it provides guided templates by jurisdiction, deadline tracking, fee estimate logging, and a clean evidence trail for appeals. For agencies, it offers an intake portal, automated acknowledgment letters, configurable workflows, redaction-ready document handling, and audit logs that reduce legal risk. An AI layer can classify incoming requests, suggest exemptions, and pre-highlight sensitive data for human review, but the system is designed to be usable without AI and to keep humans in control. The goal is not “magic transparency”—it’s fewer missed deadlines, fewer back-and-forth emails, and faster, more defensible releases. Pricing targets small-to-mid agencies that can’t afford enterprise records platforms, plus power users and journalists on a subscription tier.
