FolioPulse is a mobile + web app for rare-book dealers, auction specialists, and collectors to produce standardized condition reports with photo evidence and consistent terminology. Users capture guided photos (spine, boards, hinges, text block, plates, defects), then the app assembles a clean report with checklists, measurements, and disclosure language aligned to common trade practices. An AI layer can suggest defect labels (foxing, toning, hinge cracking) and flag missing angles, but the user stays in control—because mislabeling is costly. Reports export to PDF, shareable links, and listing-ready snippets for platforms and catalogues. The app also maintains a private library of past reports per item, so repeat sales or consignments don’t require starting over. This is not a marketplace; it’s a workflow tool that reduces disputes and returns.
