FoodRecallIQ

FoodRecallIQ is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps small-to-mid food manufacturers meet industry-specific regulatory expectations around traceability and recall readiness (e.g., FDA FSMA 204 where applicable) without buying an enterprise QMS. It centralizes supplier lots, production batches, finished goods, and shipment links so a recall “one-up/one-down” report can be generated quickly. Users can run mock recalls, time the results, and store evidence for auditors. The app includes configurable checklists for common food safety programs (HACCP/Preventive Controls) and prompts for missing data that typically breaks traceability chains. An AI assistant can ingest PDFs (COAs, bills of lading, SOPs) to extract key fields and flag inconsistencies, but the system remains rules-first so it’s auditable and not a black box. This is not magic: it won’t fix bad shop-floor discipline, but it will expose gaps fast.
