FootfallForge
FootfallForge helps city economic development teams and small developers estimate whether a corridor can actually support new retail, services, or mixed-use—before incentives, rezonings, or leases are signed. It combines anonymized mobility signals, transit access, nearby employment, household income, and comparable corridor performance into a simple “demand score” and scenario tool. Users can test changes like adding bus frequency, reducing parking minimums, or introducing a grocery anchor and see how expected foot traffic and sales potential shift. The product is intentionally pragmatic: it won’t pretend to forecast perfectly, but it will quickly flag projects that are likely to underperform and quantify uncertainty. Reports export cleanly for council packets and lender decks. The MVP focuses on a few metros where data coverage is strong, then expands as partnerships and datasets grow.
