FootprintForge

FootprintForge is a web app (with optional desktop export tools) for generating, validating, and sharing satellite coverage maps that hold up in customer and regulatory conversations. Users import TLE/ephemeris, antenna patterns, frequency bands, and ground constraints, then produce time-aware coverage, availability, and link-margin layers. The product focuses on “decision-grade” outputs: versioned assumptions, reproducible runs, and exportable artifacts (GeoTIFF/MBTiles/GeoJSON, PDF reports) rather than pretty but unverifiable visuals. It includes simple scenario comparisons (before/after antenna tilt, beam hopping schedules, gateway changes) and a lightweight API for embedding maps into internal portals. It’s not a magic AI autopilot; AI is used only to speed up data cleaning, documentation, and explaining deltas between scenarios. The goal is to reduce weeks of back-and-forth between RF, sales engineering, and customers into hours.
