ForceTune
ForceTune is a desktop + web app (traditional + AI) that helps robotics teams debug and tune force/torque control loops for assembly, polishing, deburring, and insertion tasks. You stream logs from the robot controller (ROS 2 topics or vendor exports) plus a short “touch test” routine, and the app automatically flags common failure modes: oscillation from poor impedance gains, contact instability from bad filtering, sensor bias/temperature drift, frame misalignment, and saturation/latency issues. It then generates a step-by-step tuning plan with safe gain ranges, recommended filters, and validation tests, and produces a shareable report for QA and process engineering. This is not a magic autopilot—ForceTune won’t replace an experienced controls engineer—but it will cut the time wasted on blind trial-and-error and reduce the number of ruined parts during commissioning.
