ForecastGuard

ForecastGuard is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams alerts) that monitors your existing demand forecasts and flags when they’re likely wrong, late, or biased—before inventory, staffing, or purchasing decisions get locked in. Instead of replacing your forecasting tool, it sits on top of it: ingesting forecasts, actuals, and key drivers (price changes, promos, lead times, outages, holidays) and running automated “forecast health” checks. It highlights where error is trending, where forecast bias is creeping in, and which SKUs/locations are becoming unstable. The product outputs simple actions: “freeze replenishment,” “raise safety stock,” “review promo uplift,” or “split forecast by channel.” This is not magic: it won’t perfectly predict demand. It will, however, reduce avoidable surprises by making forecast risk visible and auditable, with clear accountability and a paper trail for S&OP.
