It then ranks nearby restaurants by predicted satisfaction and explains why (“you usually like bright, acidic dishes; this spot’s top orders match that”). It also surfaces practical filters people truly care about: quiet tables, fast lunch, good solo seating, date-night lighting, and reliable takeout packaging. The app pulls menus and dish photos, then highlights items likely to match your preferences and constraints. Realistically, the hardest part is data quality (menus, hours, photos) and avoiding generic recommendations; the MVP should start in one city and expand carefully.
