ForkSafe

ForkSafe is a warehouse safety app that combines low-cost phone-based detection with optional AI video analysis to reduce forklift–pedestrian incidents. Workers wear a small BLE tag (or use their phone) and forklifts mount a rugged phone or tablet. When a forklift approaches a pedestrian within a configurable distance, both parties get loud/visual alerts and the event is logged with time, zone, and speed estimate. For sites with existing cameras, an AI module can ingest RTSP feeds to detect forklifts, pedestrians, and blocked sightlines, producing heatmaps of “near-miss” zones and shift-level safety reports. The product is intentionally practical: it won’t pretend to replace full safety systems, but it gives safety managers measurable leading indicators (near-misses, hotspots, repeat offenders) without a six-figure install. It also supports simple incident workflows and compliance-ready export.
