Formatio is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for seminaries to manage human, spiritual, pastoral, and intellectual formation in one place. It replaces scattered spreadsheets, paper files, and ad‑hoc notes with structured evaluations, milestone checklists, and longitudinal progress views per seminarian. Faculty and formators can log observations tied to competencies, schedule reviews, and generate standardized reports for internal boards and (where appropriate) diocesan requirements. The AI component helps summarize multi-source notes into draft evaluation narratives, flags missing evidence for required competencies, and suggests questions for upcoming formation meetings—without pretending to “discern vocation.” This is not a generic LMS; it’s a formation operations system designed for the realities of seminary confidentiality, small cohorts, and multi-year tracking. Expect slow sales cycles and heavy trust requirements, but strong retention once adopted.
