FormFixer is a web + mobile app that helps residents complete and submit common government forms with fewer rejections. It guides users step-by-step, validates entries in real time (missing fields, inconsistent dates, wrong document types), and produces a submission-ready packet (PDF + attachments) aligned to the agency’s checklist. For agencies, it provides an intake portal that flags incomplete applications, standardizes metadata, and reduces back-and-forth emails. This is not a magical “AI does it all” promise: it focuses on a narrow set of high-volume forms (benefits recertification, housing applications, small business registrations) where rules are stable and measurable. The AI component is used for document classification and plain-language explanations of confusing questions, while deterministic rules handle eligibility and validation. The goal is fewer rejected submissions, shorter processing times, and less frustration for both residents and clerks.
