FrictionLens
FrictionLens is a web app + lightweight SDK that detects and explains “microinteraction failures” in real products: rage clicks, dead taps, repeated toggles, long-press confusion, missed swipe affordances, and form-field hesitation. It combines event telemetry with session replay snippets to pinpoint where UI feedback is unclear (no state change, delayed response, ambiguous affordance) and then generates concrete microcopy, animation, haptic, and timing recommendations tied to platform guidelines. Teams get a prioritized queue of issues scored by frequency, user impact, and funnel drop-off correlation, plus a “before/after” experiment tracker to prove improvements. This is not a generic analytics tool; it’s narrowly focused on the tiny interaction moments that quietly erode trust. Realistically, it won’t replace UX research, but it can surface high-volume issues that researchers rarely see at scale.
