FuelBias is a mobile + web app that automatically estimates how much of your plug-in hybrid driving is truly electric vs gasoline, then turns it into clear, defensible reports. It combines OBD-II data (when available) with phone GPS, trip context, and charging events to calculate EV miles, fuel burn, cost per mile, and emissions—without relying on the often-misleading dashboard summaries. The core value is credibility: a driver can show an employer, tax preparer, or fleet manager a month-by-month breakdown of EV utilization, charging behavior, and outlier trips. It also flags “silent failures” like a dead onboard charger, degraded battery capacity, or a driver who rarely plugs in. This is a traditional app with light AI for anomaly detection and trip classification (home/work/errands) to reduce manual tagging.
