FuelTruth is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that calculates your true fuel/charging cost per mile and predicts next-month spend using your actual driving, prices, and vehicle efficiency—without relying on optimistic EPA numbers. Users connect a card (optional) to auto-detect fuel purchases, pull EV charging sessions from supported networks, and import odometer/mileage from OBD-II or manual entries. The app normalizes everything into one metric: cost per mile by vehicle, route type, and time of day, then flags waste (premium fuel when unnecessary, consistently overpriced stations, high-cost fast charging habits, tire pressure/maintenance indicators). It also supports multi-car households and reimbursable drivers with exportable reports. The AI component is limited to anomaly detection (bad fill-ups, missing miles) and personalized “if you change X, you save Y” recommendations, because full “AI magic” here is mostly hype without reliable data inputs.
