FXSplit

FXSplit is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) for groups traveling together who constantly lose track of who paid what, in which currency, and at what exchange rate. It lets each person log expenses in their local currency, auto-converts using the rate at the time of purchase, and keeps a running “who owes who” balance that’s actually fair. The app supports mixed payment methods (cash, card, shared bookings), uneven splits (one person didn’t drink, two people shared a taxi), and offline entry with later sync. Receipts can be scanned to prefill merchant, amount, and category, but the core value is accurate multi-currency settlement—not pretty charts. At the end of the trip, it generates a minimal set of transfers to settle up and exports a clean summary for reimbursement or personal budgeting. This is a combination traditional + AI app (AI only for receipt parsing and smart suggestions).
