GaitGuard

GaitGuard is a mobile AI app that uses your phone camera to screen basic gait and movement red flags at home—things like overpronation, knee valgus, asymmetry, and limited hip/ankle mobility. Users record short guided videos (walk toward camera, side view, single-leg squat), then get a simple risk report with confidence levels, what it likely means, and a conservative plan: 5–10 minute corrective routines, shoe/insert considerations, and “see a pro now” triggers. It’s not a medical diagnosis and it shouldn’t pretend to be; the value is early detection and better self-triage. The app tracks trends over time, flags worsening patterns, and can generate a shareable summary for a physical therapist or coach. Monetization is subscription plus optional one-time “review by clinician” add-ons via partner providers.
