GaitGuard
GaitGuard is a mobile AI app that uses your phone camera (and optional smartwatch data) to track running and training mechanics over time and flag meaningful changes that often precede overuse injuries. Instead of generic “form tips,” it focuses on trend detection: asymmetry shifts, cadence drift, ground contact imbalance proxies, and fatigue signatures across sessions. It then ties those changes to your recent load (mileage, intensity, sleep, soreness) and suggests simple, evidence-aligned adjustments (reduce volume, swap workouts, add specific strength work) with clear confidence levels. The app is realistic about limitations: it won’t diagnose injuries, and camera-based estimates are noisy—so it prioritizes consistency, repeatable capture, and alerts only when changes persist. For teams, it offers a lightweight dashboard to monitor athletes’ red flags without drowning coaches in data.
