GapScribe

GapScribe is a web app (with optional IDE plugin) that audits your test case suite for coverage gaps and redundancy using lightweight AI plus deterministic rules. Connect Jira/Azure DevOps and your test management tool (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray) to ingest requirements, user stories, and existing test cases. The app clusters similar tests, flags duplicates, and highlights untested acceptance criteria, edge conditions, and negative paths. It then generates “candidate test cases” with clear preconditions, steps, and expected results, but forces human review and sign-off to avoid hallucinated nonsense. Reports are practical: per-epic gap heatmaps, risk-based prioritization, and a “what changed” diff when requirements update. This is not a full test management replacement; it’s a focused layer that helps teams design better test cases faster and with fewer blind spots.
