GatePulse

GatePulse is a web app (with optional mobile approvals) for portfolio “stage-gate” governance that forces hard decisions early. Instead of pretending every project is green, it standardizes how initiatives earn funding: clear entry criteria, measurable outcomes, risk thresholds, and a lightweight evidence pack (links, metrics, customer signals). It continuously recalculates a project’s probability of success and expected value using actual delivery data (cycle time, scope churn, dependency delays) pulled from Jira/Azure DevOps and finance systems. When a project drifts, GatePulse triggers a required gate review: continue, pivot, pause, or stop—then logs the rationale for auditability. It’s not a full PPM suite; it’s a focused “decision engine” that sits on top of existing tools and makes portfolio tradeoffs explicit, fast, and defensible.
