GateRoster

GateRoster is a web + mobile app for security desks and guard forces to pre-register, verify, and track visitors and contractors at sensitive sites (federal buildings, ports, utilities, labs). It replaces spreadsheets, paper logs, and ad-hoc badge processes with a standardized workflow: invite creation, identity capture, watchlist/denylist checks, arrival check-in, badge issuance, escort assignment, and automatic check-out. The system maintains an immutable audit trail for inspections and incident reviews, with configurable retention policies. It supports offline mode for gatehouses with poor connectivity and can integrate with existing access control systems via simple APIs or file drops. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflows plus AI-assisted ID document parsing and anomaly flags (e.g., mismatched names, repeated failed attempts, unusual visit patterns). Realistically, procurement cycles are slow, so the product must prove ROI quickly through reduced queue times and fewer compliance findings.
