GCodeGuard
GCodeGuard is a desktop + web app that analyzes your sliced G-code and predicts high-risk failures before you hit print. It flags common but costly issues like unsupported bridges, thin walls below nozzle capability, extreme retractions, overheating from tiny layers, and travel paths that will knock parts loose. You upload a G-code file (or connect via OctoPrint/Moonraker), select your printer profile, and get a clear risk score plus specific fixes: suggested slicer setting changes, alternative orientations, and where in the file the problem occurs. It also estimates time/material at risk and provides a “what changed” report when you compare two versions of G-code. This is not magic: it won’t guarantee success, but it will reliably catch a meaningful chunk of preventable failures that hobbyists and print farms repeatedly pay for in wasted filament and machine time.
