GearAudit

GearAudit is a mobile + web app for gyms and training facilities to track the lifecycle of training equipment (bands, kettlebells, barbells, racks, cables, cardio attachments, mats). Staff scan a QR code on each item, log quick condition checks, and record incidents (frays, cracks, loose bolts). The app turns these logs into a simple risk score and a replacement/maintenance calendar, so managers stop guessing and reduce downtime and liability. It also stores purchase date, warranty info, vendor, and photos, and can generate a “ready for inspection” report for insurance or internal audits. This is not a glamorous consumer fitness app; it’s operational software for people who get yelled at when equipment breaks. The MVP focuses on fast logging, reminders, and a clean inventory view—no complex CMMS bloat.
